Business 40 Detour Information

• From Business 40, exit onto Fifth Street (Exit 7) from Business 40, and continue into downtown.
• From Business 40, exit onto MLK Jr. Drive (Exit 6C). Turn either left onto Fourth Street or Fifth Street, and continue to downtown; or take MLK. Jr. Drive until it turns into West Eighth Street, and turn left on Marshall into downtown.
• From Business 40, exit U.S. 52 South. Exit onto Research Parkway and continue west. Turn left onto Third Street into downtown.
• From Business 40, exit U.S. 52 North. Exit Liberty Street (Exit 110C), turn left onto Liberty Street. Turn left on Patterson Avenue and continue into downtown.

Eastbound drivers going downtown should take either U.S. 158/Stratford Road, Cloverdale Avenue or Peters Creek Parkway. From those exits, drivers have the following options:

• From Business 40, exit U.S. 158 West/Stratford Road (Exit 3B). Turn left onto Stratford Road. Merge onto West First Street and continue into downtown.
• From Business 40, exit Cloverdale Avenue and turn left. Then turn right onto West First Street.
• From Business 40, exit Peters Creek Parkway and turn left. Continue onto Second Street into downtown.

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center & Brenner’s Children’s Hospital

• Eastbound drivers exit at Cloverdale Avenue, as usual, and follow hospital directional signs.
• Westbound drivers exit at Peters Creek Parkway, turn left onto West First Street, left onto Cloverdale Avenue and follow hospital directional signs. (Westbound traffic will not be able to travel Peters Creek Parkway because it runs into the closure.)
  

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center & Novant Health Medical Park Hospital

• Eastbound drivers will take Silas Creek Parkway South (N.C. 67 East). No detour needed.
• Westbound drivers will exit onto U.S. 52 South then take I-40 West to exit onto Hanes Mall Boulevard. Take a right onto Hanes Mall Boulevard, and Novant Medical Center is located on the right.
• Alternate westbound route: Travelers exit onto U.S. 52 South then take I-40 West. Exit onto Business 40/Highway 421 East. Then take exit Silas Creek Parkway South (N.C. 67 East). Novant will be on the left.

Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum

• Westbound traffic can exit at U.S. 52 and exit at Akron Drive. Turn left onto Akron Drive. Turn left onto Reynolds Boulevard and then left onto University Parkway.
• Eastbound traffic can exit Silas Creek Parkway North (N.C. 67 West), then merge right onto Reynolda Road. Turn right onto Reynolda Road. Turn left onto Coliseum Drive.
• Alternate eastbound route: Traffic can exit Silas Creek Parkway North (N.C. 67 West). Continue onto Northpoint Boulevard. Turn right onto University Parkway.

Wake Forest University

• No detour for eastbound traffic; can take Silas Creek Parkway North (N.C. 67 West), then merge right onto Reynolda Road.
• Westbound traffic can exit at U.S. 52 North and exit at Akron Drive. Turn left onto Akron. Then turn left onto Reynolds Boulevard, and then turn right onto University Parkway.

BB&T Ballpark

Take from either Business 40 or I-40:

• Eastbound traffic exit Peters Creek Parkway and turn left onto Second Street. Follow parking signage.
• From Business 40, westbound traffic should exit onto Fifth Street (Exit 7) and continue into downtown. Turn left on Broad Street.
• Alternate westbound route: From Business 40, exit onto MLK Jr. Drive (Exit 6C). Turn left onto Fourth Street or Fifth Street and continue to downtown. Turn left on Broad Street.

Old Salem Museums & Gardens

• Eastbound traffic can exit Peters Creek Parkway. Turn right onto Peters Creek Parkway and then turn left onto Academy Street.
• Westbound traffic should exit onto U.S. 52 South, then exit onto Research Parkway. Follow signs to Old Salem Museums & Gardens.
  

Reynolda House Museum of American Art

Take Silas Creek Parkway to Reynolda Road; follow signs.

• Eastbound traffic can exit Silas Creek Parkway North (N.C. 67 West), then merge right onto Reynolda Road. Turn right onto Reynolda Road. Museum entrance is on the left.
• Westbound traffic can exit onto U.S. 52 North and take exit at Akron Drive. Turn left onto Akron Drive. Turn left onto Reynolds Boulevard. Turn left onto University Parkway. Turn right onto Coliseum Drive. Turn right onto Reynolda Road. Museum entrance is on right.
